Console my tormented heart, O Lord my God; the storm rages around me.
Give me rest and calm me with Your Mercy.
In Your unfailing love, Father protect me from the things that try to pull me away from You.
Let Your Salvation soothe my soul and bring me peace in Your Forgiveness.
At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the Name of the Lord be praised.” (Job 1:20-21 NIV)
Life is about choices! We choose everything from what to wear; what to eat; how to spend our time, etc. There are little choices and big choices. Then there the things that come along and make us make hard choices, like storms. The trials and tribulations are not something we choose to have in our lives, but how we deal with them is our choice. I choose to take them to God. What about you?
